Mindful Self-Compassion
The Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) program is an 8 week group exploration of self-compassion and techniques that support its cultivation. This program was created by Kristen Neff, PhD and Chris Germer, PhD, co-founders of the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion.
Self-compassion has been linked to decreased states of depression, anxiety and shame, as well to increased states of happiness, healthy body image, and better physical health and immune response. MSC is an empirically supported and nourishing way to meet yourself as you are with greater kindness, understanding and compassion.
